Congenital heart disease

 1. Congenital heart disease: This is a birth defect of a baby. There may  be other birth defects and among them, this is a common type of birth defect. Congenital is a condition which is present at birth. With congenital defects, normal ways of life is hampered. There is one congenital baby which is out of 100 in UK. Other country also have same rate. 



2. What is root cause of congenital heart disease: A opinion is very prominent is that genetic cause. With this type of condition there may be learning difficulty. Mother is very important for giving birth of a baby. During pregnancy's there may be rubella (a virus disease, fever and sore throat and rash) which may affect baby. Some of medicine of mother may affect baby. Experienced doctor is essential. Smoking and drinking of mother can affect baby. Alcohol is poisonous for pregnant  woman. Too much photo radiation is bad and can affect in pregnancy's. Before a baby born, congenital heart disease is easy to diagnosis.     

3. Symptoms: Rapid heartbeat is one of the major symptoms. Baby will berth rapidly, there will be swelling in legs and eyes. Baby will feel extreme fatigue, sometimes skin will be blue due to lack of oxygen. It is also to be noted here that mild problems may not persists with growing age. 

4. Types: There are many types and among those following are prominent:


  • Hole in heart: Observed hole in heart. This is a birth defect. 
  • Narrow aorta: Aorta is narrow than normal. Birth defect 
  • Valve narrow than normal: Size of valve are narrow and has abnormal growth. 
  • Transposition of the great arteries: Where the pulmonary and aortic valves and the arteries they're connected to have swapped positions
  • Heart is not developed: Heart is underdeveloped. 
5. Regular treatment: The treatment process can be determined with the type of defects. If there is hole in heart, can be cured over the period of time. But some of congenital disease need to treat over the whole period of life. Valve and heart problem may deteriorated  over period of time. Exercise will be limited and need to take extra precautions to protect infections. Surgery procedure is no a best solution rather routine and daily livelihood can be a solution. Medicine and meditation can be a solution. 



6. Problem in growth: There are delay of growth in congenital heart child. Walking can take longer. Also speech can be delayed. Other part of body may be delayed. Learning difficulty may observe, poor oxygen supply can hamper brain development. There may be low attention, poor planning ability, lack of concentration, lack of physical activity, less interest in social behavior.
